It seems that Ashlee Simpson may be following in sister Jessica’s footsteps by appearing in her very own reality TV show.
Jessica first became a household name after making reality TV “Newlyweds” and it seems that father and manager Joe Simpson is keen to get Ashlee her own show, because he feels that it will help Ashlee further her career.
A source revealed “Joe knows that no one cared about Jessica before her reality show, and he’s hoping a show for Ashlee will have the same effect,”
Ashlee has previously appeared in MTV reality TV show “The Ashlee Simpson Show” which ran in 2004 showing her making her debut album Autobiography.
Autobiography then went straight to the top on the charts and so with Ashlee’s next two albums not debuting as high, Joe is hoping if he can get a reality TV show going, Ashlee’s album will climb the charts.

Fall out boy star Pete Wentz and pop princess Ashlee Simpson have finally admitted they are engaged.
Pete asked Ashlee his girlfried of two years, too be his wife during holiday in Colorado.
A friend of the pair revealed ”He got down on one knee and she said yes. She has an amazing ring, and they are so in love.”
The couple who have been denying an engagement for months, finally released a statement yesterday.
Ashlee said “We know there has been a lot of speculation recently about Pete and I and we wanted our fans to be the first to know, because you guys are the best. Yes, we are thrilled to share that we are happily engaged. Thank you for all of your support and well wishes – it means the world to us. We consider this to be a very private matter, and we wanted to be the first to tell you and to hear it straight from us.”
They make such a cute couple, congratulations!

Is there any popstar/celebrity that hasn’t got their own clothes range these days?
Ashlee Simpson is the latest star to design her own clothing, with her own range of t-shirts coming out later this year. Aimed at teenage girls (obviously) they will be released by Wet Seal, in conjunction with her third album Bittersweet World, released soon.
Ashlee said “ ”I was inspired by so many fun, wonderful things as I was recording ‘Bittersweet World’ and it’s been great to carry through those inspirations into these new shirt designs. I hope my fans love this album and rock out in these shirts”
High hopes are being put on Ashlee, with her first two albums only receiving moderate success, this album is already being tipped as something big, prior to its release!
Pete Wentz from rock band Fall Out Boy has sensationally admitted today that he once attempted to end his life, in a bid to save others from a similar fate. Pete said that he felt so depressed when his career first started that he took and overdose of prescription pills.
Joining Mary J. Blige, and Smashing pumpkins front-man Billy Corgan, Pete spoke really honestly about the problems he had faced as part of the Jed Foundations Half Of Us campaign, which sets to cut suicide rates among students.
The 28 year old musician who is dating pop starlet Ashlee Simpson bravely admitted “The darkest moment was when we had just finished recording our major label record and two days later we were going to go to Europe and I felt completely lost and out of control.
“At that point, I’d seen some doctors and they were Hollywood doctors so they gave me a cocktail [of prescription drugs] but I was kind of the drugstore cowboy, so I took the cocktail the way I wanted to take it.
“I got in my car. I remember I was listening to Jeff Buckley doing Leonard Cohen’s ‘Hallelujah’ and sat there and took a bunch of [prescription drug] Adavan in a Best Buy parking lot.”
He then called his manager, who arrived with his mother who took him straight to hospital. “I came home and we realised that we needed to do more than just keep my head above water. It’s not really about keeping your head above water, it’s about feeling alright and feeling safe in your own skin. It’s not about keeping your head above water and barely keep going.”
