Dame Maggie Smith is battling Cancer despite still filming for the new Harry Potter movie. The 73 year old oscar winning star has already under gone radiation therapy but is putting on a brave face claiming she “doesn’t want a fuss”. Her agent refused to comment on the stars illness stating “We never comment on our clients private life’s”, but it is being said that stars prognosis is good.

Dame Maggie Smith plays Minerva  Mcgonagall in the Harry Potter movies, has been performing for over 50 years, both on stage and screen. Appearing in other films such as Becoming Jane, Gosford Park and of course as Mother Superior in the Sister Act films. We wish Maggie a speedy recovery as she is one of britains finest actresses.
