Possibly the weirdest couple in showbiz, Cheeky Girl Garbriela Irimia and MP Lembit Opik are getting married and announced their engagement last night.
The couple have been dating for just over a year and are planning to wed next year.
Lebmit 42, proposed to the 25 year old Romanian pop star in Rome. Gabriela exclaimed “When I said ‘Yes’ he started to cry. I was so happy that I just kept smiling and laughing.” Lembit added: “I hope people will now be happy for us, even those who’ve been negative.”
