Guy Richie’s dad has scorned at rumours circulating that his son’s marriage to Madonna is in trouble and has said they’re not planning to split.

John, 78 said even though they are rarely seen together, it just down to them being busy people rather than any problems with their marriage.

Madonna who is about to make a come back to the charts with new album Hard Candy, has been seen with out Guy on numermous occasions, most noticeably in New York recently when Madonna was entered in to the notorious Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame.  

But John has said: “They’re happy. I was shocked when I read they were supposed to be having problems. They’ve been running around different places. That’s why they haven’t been seen together.”

They have been married for 7 years and have a total of three children between them, let’s hope John’s right and this couple stay together.
